Terms of Service

These terms govern access to and use of WSI Health Sciences AI, provided by Web Solutions Inc. Read them together with our Privacy Notice and, for institutional customers, the Data Processing Agreement.

Last updated: 8 August 2026

WSI Health Sciences AI is a research and learning tool for educational use only. It is not clinical decision support, not medical advice, and not a substitute for professional judgment.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account, signing in, or using any part of WSI Health Sciences AI (the Service), you agree to these Terms. If you accept on behalf of a school, college or university, you confirm you are authorised to bind that institution, and "you" means the institution and its users. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Institutional accounts may also be covered by a separate signed pilot or subscription agreement. Where that agreement conflicts with these Terms, the signed agreement prevails for that institution.

2. Educational use only, no clinical use

The Service is an educational research and learning tool for health sciences students, faculty and librarians. It is not clinical decision support, not medical advice, not a diagnostic device, and not a substitute for professional judgment, supervision, or the standards of care of any licensing body.

  • Do not use the Service to make or support decisions about the care of a real patient.
  • Do not enter patient identifiers, medical records, or other identifiable clinical data.
  • Always verify a source before relying on it or citing it in academic work.
  • AI generated text can be incomplete or wrong. Treat every output as a draft requiring your own review.

3. Accounts and acceptable use

School administrators create and manage accounts for their institution and are responsible for the accuracy of the roles they assign and for revoking access when a user leaves. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account.

  • Do not share accounts, resell access, or use the Service outside your licensed institution.
  • Do not attempt to bypass tenancy isolation, rate limits or authentication.
  • Do not scrape, bulk export or systematically download our authored content.
  • Do not use the Service to produce work you present as your own where your institution's academic integrity rules forbid it.
  • Do not upload malware or unlawful material.

4. Content ownership and licence

WSI authored content. The lesson objects, syntheses, structure, prompts, taxonomies, code and interface of the Service are original works owned by Web Solutions Inc. and protected under Republic Act No. 8293 (Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines). Subject to payment and these Terms, WSI grants your institution a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to access and use that content for internal teaching, study and research for the term of the subscription. No ownership transfers.

Third party scholarly content. Bibliographic records, abstracts and excerpts retrieved from public indexes remain the property of their respective rights holders. We surface them with attribution and a link to the source, labelled as third party evidence, never as WSI content. We do not store or reproduce full text of paywalled works. If you need the full article, obtain it through your library or the publisher on the publisher's terms.

Your material. You keep ownership of material you or your institution submits. You grant WSI a limited licence to process it only to operate the Service for you. You are solely responsible for holding the rights to any material you upload, including textbooks, articles, slides and question banks. Do not upload licensed or copyrighted material unless your licence permits it. WSI acts only as a processor for such material and will remove it on written request from the institution or on a valid rights holder complaint.

5. No expert review claim, no regulatory endorsement

Content that has not been signed off by a named clinician is labelled as WSI editorial or AI evidence checked, and must not be presented as peer reviewed, expert reviewed, or medically endorsed. Only content with a named reviewer on record may carry an expert reviewed label.

Where we describe content as aligned to, or mapped to, a CHED Memorandum Order competency area, that is our own curricular mapping offered as a planning aid. It is not approval, endorsement, accreditation or certification by the Commission on Higher Education or by any professional regulatory board, and it must not be represented as such. CHED regulates institutions and programs, not software.

6. Availability and changes

We aim for continuous availability but the Service is provided without an uptime guarantee unless one is stated in a signed institutional agreement. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, and we may perform maintenance. For institutional customers we give reasonable advance notice of material changes or planned downtime.

7. Fees

Pilot and subscription fees are quoted per institution and confirmed in writing before a term begins. Published figures are indicative. Fees are exclusive of applicable Philippine taxes unless stated otherwise. Non-payment may lead to suspension after written notice.

8. Data protection

Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Notice. Institutions processing student data through the Service should also review and execute the Data Processing Agreement, which sets out our obligations as a Personal Information Processor under RA 10173.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by Philippine law, the Service and all content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, currency of medical or scientific information, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that generated content is free of error or that retrieved evidence is the most current available.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WSI is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, nor for loss of profits, data, goodwill, academic standing, or clinical or patient outcomes arising from use of the Service. WSI's total aggregate liability for all claims in any twelve month period is limited to the fees actually paid by the institution for the Service in that period.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or for willful misconduct.

11. Indemnity

You will indemnify WSI against third party claims arising from material you upload without the necessary rights, from your use of the Service in breach of these Terms, or from any clinical use of the Service in violation of Section 2.

12. Suspension and termination

Either party may terminate an institutional subscription in accordance with the signed agreement, or on 30 days written notice where none exists. We may suspend access immediately for security reasons or for a serious breach of Section 3. On termination we delete the institution's organization and membership records on written request, as described in the Privacy Notice and the Data Processing Agreement.

13. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the proper courts of the Philippines, with venue as stated in the signed institutional agreement or, absent one, in the courts of the city where WSI maintains its principal office. The parties will attempt good faith discussion before commencing proceedings.

14. Contact
